Field Hockey Canada is today celebrating the induction of Dr. Jack Taunton into its Hall of Fame.
Inducted in the Builder’s category, Taunton was a longtime Richmondite who is renowned the world over as a pioneer in the field of sports medicine.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Field Hockey Canada postponed its 2019 Hall of Fame induction ceremony indefinitely. It is instead celebrating the 2019 class throughout this month, with Aug. 14 set aside to pay tribute to Taunton.
