In the next stage of its slow restart plan, Richmond Public Library is expanding its hours to include Saturdays.

Starting this weekend, Brighouse and Steveston branches will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. These hours will be an extension of the current services offered at each branch, and no new services will be added at this time.

At Brighouse branch, customers can visit for quick drop-in service or register for computer access at 10:30 a.m. or noon. At Steveston branch, customers can visit for curbside holds pickup.

While we will continue to follow municipal, provincial and federal direction, we look forward to being able to extend library service to Saturdays at the Cambie and Ironwood branches in September,” says library spokesperson Stephanie Vokey.
