Through its “Walking and Talking” series, the Richmond Chamber of Commerce is offering members a chance to connect at a safe distance this summer.

The events will be held on July 24, July 31 and Aug. 7 at noon. The free events are available to a limited number of chamber members and their staff.

Those interested must register in advance, and will then be sent the starting point and route map.

Participants are asked to maintain two metres of space from other members of the group, as well as bringing and wearing a mask. Refrain from using handshakes or giving out business cards, as the chamber will send out a list of each week’s attendees following the event to enable future contact.

If you’ve experienced any symptoms of COVID-19, have been in close contact with anyone with the virus or have travelled in the past 14 days, stay home.

• July 24 at Richmond Nature Park (11851 Westminster Hwy)

• July 31 at Middle Arm Waterfront Park (7411 River Rd)

• Aug. 7 at Garry Point Park (12011 Seventh Ave)
