Yan-li Wu recently won $50,000 on a Big Money Scratch & Win ticket, which she purchased at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond.
After she finished grocery shopping, Wu checked her ticket, but didn’t look too closely.
“I tried to keep quiet since I didn’t want to draw a lot of attention,” she said. “It wasn’t until I got home that I realized that I was a winner.”
Wu, who lives in Delta, says she couldn’t believe she won the maximum amount on her ticket.
“It feels amazing. I’m grateful and thankful for being a winner.”
