Richmond RCMP is proud to announce our partnership with the Community Arts Council of Richmond to celebrate the contributions of seniors during their fourth annual Faces of Richmond event. What is unique this year is the partnership and collaboration in celebrating Richmond RCMP’s 75 years of service in Richmond.

The Faces of Richmond event will feature portraits of Richmond seniors who embody the spirit of service, resilience, and community pride—individuals who continue to inspire through leadership, volunteerism, mentorship, or cultural contributions to the community. Seniors will have their portraits painted by a local artist and share their memories and stories which will be recorded on an audio file. The completed portraits will be on display in two gallery exhibitions in public spaces in Richmond during the months of June and July 2025.

Invitation to seniors

The Community Arts Council of Richmond invites senior community members to sign up to participate. Submissions that reflect Richmond’s diverse history and many forms of community engagement are encouraged. To participate, please email info@richmondartscouncil.ca.

Share your stories of Richmond RCMP

We are extending the invitation to seniors who may wish to share their experiences with Richmond RCMP, including personal stories, anecdotes, photos or memories. If you know someone that may have a story to share, we want to speak to you. Please email Richmond_75@rcmp-grc.gc.ca
