New tests coming to show who’s immune to COVID-19

During the province’s daily update on COVID-19, provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry warned people not to trust home tests as they may be inaccurate.
She also announced that antibody testing is in the works. These tests will show which people have had COVID-19.
“They are helpful to tell how many in a community were affected, and we can say, ‘Yes you have had the virus and are immune to COVID-19.’ That is especially important for health care workers,” Henry said.
