Lunar New Year Celebration at Lansdowne Centre

Lansdowne Centre is celebrating the Lunar New Year with the multicultural communities. To usher in the Year of the Snake in style, a larger-than-life size Snakes and Ladder’s board game will be available for the public to enjoy.
The giant board game is intended to bring the Year of the Snake to a whole new level offering LNY celebration, family bonding, and team building. The participants will enjoy an immersive experience being an integral part of the game and bringing good luck home.
Suitable for everyone regardless of age or cultural background, attendees will be able to experience a whole new level of Lunar New Year celebration. “This year is the giant Snakes and Ladders board game which is intended to bring the Year of the Snake to a whole new level, offering LNY celebration, family bonding, and team building. The participants will enjoy an immersive experience being an integral part of the game and bringing good luck home”, said Helen You, Lansdowne Centre.
The event is free and open to the public, the opening ceremony will take place on Feb. 1, 2025 from 12 to 12:30 p.m., followed by a game time until 5 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy an arts and craft book allowing for hands-on experiences with art pieces to take home, games like ring toss, Chinese calligraphy, as well as dragon and lion dances.
