Richmond RCMP seeking to identify suspect in alleged indecent act.

On November 6, 2024 Richmond RCMP attended the 10200 block of Buttermere Drive for an indecent act. According to the victim, she had gotten off of a bus in the area of No. 3 Road and Goldstream Drive. As she walked Westbound towards an elementary school in the 7600 block of Alouette Drive, she noticed a man following her. The man reportedly continued to follow her into the 10200 block of Buttermere Drive where he allegedly exposed his genitals to the victim.

The victim was able to leave area and reported the incident to police. Richmond frontline officers attended but the man had already left the area.

Richmond RCMP obtained video surveillance of the suspect who is described as:

  • Fair-skinned male;
  • Early 20s;
  • 5’8.

He was wearing:

  • Black hooded jacket with logo “Essential” on the back;
  • Black pants;
  • White shoes.

Richmond RCMP frontline have conduct of this active and ongoing investigation.
