Are you ready to face a natural disaster if it occurs? Having a plan in place and knowing how to respond can make all the difference when it matters most. Join the City of Richmond's Emergency Programs staff to learn more about emergency preparedness on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. at City Centre Community Centre.

This free information session will cover the five steps to emergency preparedness, with a special focus on earthquakes. It is open to all Richmond residents and will be presented in English, with interpretation into Cantonese with the support of The Civic Education Society.

After the presentation, there will be time for discussion and questions. Printed copies of the Home Emergency Plan from the Prepared BC website will be provided in multiple languages for attendees to take home.
