For the 18th year in a row, Richmond City Hall has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland.

An colourful display of decorated Christmas trees lines the hall and inspiring music fills the air in the annual presentation by the Richmond Sunset Rotary Club.

Each tree is sponsored, and has been decorated by local businesses, organizations or individuals. Visitors enjoying the festive display are encouraged to vote for their favourites, while also making a financial donation in support of the Rotary Club’s international and Richmond community programs. And be sure to bring along a non-perishable food item in support of the Richmond Food Bank.

The official Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be held Saturday, Dec. 1 at 12:30 p.m., followed by performances by students from the Tom Lee Music Academy at 1 p.m. and the Dr. Libby Yu Piano Studio at 3:30 p.m.

On Dec. 8, students from the Richmond chapter of the BC Registered Music Teachers’ Association will perform at 1 p.m., and from the Richmond Music School at 2:30 p.m.

On Dec. 15, students from Quality Piano will perform at 1 p.m., followed by the Emmanuel Music Group at 2:30 p.m
