With a strong belief in investing in the future, Hansen Industries Ltd. donated $10,000 to Richmond Hospital Foundation's Medical Imaging Centre Campaign this past December. This is their second gift towards the campaign since 2022.

"At Hansen Industries, we believe in giving back and supporting initiatives that make a tangible difference in peoples' lives while contributing to a brighter future for all," shares Amit Chhabra, president of Hansen Industries Ltd. "Believing and investing in the future has always been important to our company. We want to invest in improving health care in Richmond and recognize that there is and will be a continuous increase of medical imaging needs here. As a Richmond business, we are proud to lend our support for the Medical Imaging Centre Campaign and our community."

Founded in Richmond in 1975, Hansen Industries Ltd. has grown into a diversified company that supplies precision sheet metal and machined components throughout North America. Hansen Industries Ltd. has been a dedicated Richmond Hospital Foundation donor for 28 years and has supported the areas of Surgery, Emergency, Urology, Oncology, and Ambulatory Care. In recognition of their remarkable commitment to health care in Richmond, they were honoured with a Richmond Hospital Foundation Doctor of Philanthropy Award in 2022.

Gloria Wong, Richmond Hospital Foundation associate director, Leadership Giving, expresses her gratitude, "Thank you to Hansen Industries for believing and investing in the future of Richmond Hospital through philanthropy. Their donation will help fund the latest imaging technologies crucial for diagnosing, tracking, and monitoring medical conditions."

Funds raised will play a pivotal role in advancing the development of the Milan & Maureen Ilich Medical Imaging Centre, a central component of the future Yurkovich Family Pavilion. This new imaging centre will be a part of the hospital's new acute care tower, which will also house in-patient beds, an expanded surgical centre, a new Emergency Department, and a Critical Care Unit.
