Richmond residents are invited to share their input on safety enhancement options for the No. 3 Road Bark Park and adjacent dike trail by attending one of two drop-in style open houses or sharing their feedback online.

The public open houses will include information boards, a survey, light refreshments and dog treats. Parks Services staff will be available to discuss the options and answer questions on:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road
  • Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon at No. 3 Road Bark Park, 13900 No. 3 Road (near the parking lot – look for the white tent)

If residents are unable to attend the open houses and/or would like to provide their input online, they are encouraged to visit LetsTalkRichmond.ca from Tuesday, Nov. 28 to Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024. Digital versions of the open house boards and survey will be available.

The safety enhancement options are aimed at reducing conflicts between off-leash dogs, cyclists and pedestrians in and around the No. 3 Road Bark Park, located along the South Dike Trail at the south end of No. 3 Road.

For more information, contact the city’s Parks Department by emailing Parks@richmond.ca, calling 604-244-1208 or visiting richmond.ca/parks-recreation/parks/design-construction.htm.
