With history dating all the way back to the early 2010s, the organization made a title change in 2017 from BC Handball Cup to Vancouver Handball Club. Vancouver Handball Club has held an annual event at the Richmond Olympic Oval every November from 2010 to 2016. In 2019 the organization officially established itself as a non-profit organization building on the foundation that was laid down by the current President of the Handball Federation, David Lee.
