When the NBA returns to Vancouver Oct. 17, a photo exhibition will coincide with the pre-season game between the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers.
The exhibit featuring photos by famed senior NBA photographer Andrew Bernstein will be open to fans of all ages. It features both rare and recognizable images from Bernstein’s archives. It features photos of the league’s biggest personalities as well as iconic moments over four decades. Historic images from the Vancouver Grizzlies, and the Toronto Raptors’ 2018-19 championship season are also included.
The exhibit will be held Oct. 17 to 20 from noon to 8 p.m. daily at 170 Water St. Fans must register for access at nba.com/photogallery.
In partnership with the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, the gallery will also host a leadership panel featuring Mavericks’ CEO Cynthia Marshall, Clippers’ president of basketball operations Gillian Zucker, and Clippers’ assistant coach Natalie Nakse.
As well, public appearances by NBA champion Kenny Smith and Richard Jefferson and WNBA player Natalie Achonwa will coincide with the 2019 NBA Canada Series game presented by Bell. The game airs live on TSN at 7:30 p.m.
