Avril Douglas may have stepped aside as coach of the Kajaks’ Track Rascals program, but she isn’t slowing up any.
Consistently outstanding in every track meet she enters, Douglas turned in another stellar performance at last weekend’s Canadian Cross-Country Championships in Ottawa.
Representing the Kajaks Track and Field Club and BC Athletics as a member of the BC Masters Team, Douglas won gold in her age group (females 70 to 75) and placed ninth overall with a time of 37 minutes, 01 second.
