The College of Pharmacists of BC (CPBC) is making Richmond families aware that a mislabelled children’s medication was sold last week at a Richmond pharmacy.

The medication was a mislabelled compounded analgesic, acetaminophen, and was sold at the Shoppers Drug Mart at Cambie and No. 5 roads between Nov. 2 and 6.

Any member of the public who purchased this product from this location is advised to immediately discontinue use and return the product to the same Shoppers Drug Mart location, according to CPBC.

CPBC is looking into the situation to ensure that regulatory requirements have been met and to determine whether further investigation is necessary.
