Driven by the desire to enhance lives and the standard of living in the community, Pacific Chinese Cultural Society members raised more than $25,000 this past spring for Richmond Hospital Foundation’s Trio of Life Campaign.

This campaign will help provide Richmond Hospital with new diagnostic equipment for conditions related to the heart, lungs, and nervous system.

“We are passionate about supporting the Trio of Life Campaign because we know it will benefit thousands of people into the future,” says John Pak, president of the Pacific Chinese Cultural Society.

The Pacific Chinese Cultural Society was founded in 1993 with Richmond residents making up most of its 200 members.

“We hope our donation will equip our local health care team with new equipment that will enable the best possible care for patients, friends, and family,” says Pak.

Richmond Hospital Foundation is raising $580,000 to acquire the latest diagnostic equipment for the cardiology, pulmonary, and neurology specialties, referred to as the “Trio of Life.” New equipment will ensure that disease is discovered and assessed as quickly and accurately as possible.

“Thank you to the Pacific Chinese Cultural Society for lending a hand and supporting this vital campaign,” says Spencer Gall, campaign director for Richmond Hospital Foundation. “Their generous contribution will provide our health care team with the tools they need to ensure that the best assessment and care is available in Richmond.”
