—
The 75th anniversary Steveston Salmon Festival is bringing back the popular Salmon BBQ at Home initiative, a ready-to-cook meal kit that can be purchased in advance. Orders must be placed by June 15.
The all-in-one package costs $45 and is designed to feed four people featuring a fresh sockeye salmon fillet and sides, provided by Canfisco and Save-On-Foods and supported by RBC. Proceeds will go to the Steveston Community Society and Richmond Agricultural and Industrial Society, in support of the festival.
This year’s Salmon BBQ at Home meal kit includes:
• 1.2–1.3 pound fresh fillet of wild sockeye salmon (makes four five-ounce portions)
• Potato salad
• Fresh green salad
• Four sodas
• Four buns
• Other bonus items
Meal kits will be packaged in insulated bags and ready for drive-through pick-up on June 30 from noon to 7 p.m., in the parking lot south of the Steveston Community Centre (4320 Moncton St.). To place an order, visit bit.ly/salmonbbq2022.
