The City of Richmond has launched a new
online council voting record system, enabling users to get a visual breakdown
of how current city council members voted at council meetings and public hearings.
Presented in a simple table format, the user
interface is intuitive, easy to use and includes the ability to keyword search
through item topics or by specific meeting dates.
Information included with each vote includes
the item number, resolution number, motion type and overall voting results. To
provide context and background for each vote, users can also follow a link to
the full set of minutes or to the specific item recorded in the online Council
Decisions Database.
The online voting record begins with the
inaugural meeting of the 2018 to 2022 Council on Nov. 5, 2018 and will be
updated regularly.
