The City of Richmond invites residents and other interested viewers to explore the interactive 2022 capital projects highlights, which launched online today.

The city’s current priority infrastructure projects, including flood protection, various transportation initiatives, and critical building and park upgrades, are just a few of the interesting projects people can click through from any digital device.

“Each spring, we’re excited to showcase the ongoing investment the city makes to upgrade and bring new critical infrastructure to Richmond. This year, over $107 million is dedicated to our capital budget,” said Mayor Malcolm Brodie. “The capital projects highlights showcase these projects, endorsed by council’s strategic plan, to build a stronger, more resilient community.”

The capital projects highlights page is digital for a third consecutive year. Once again, it shares information, broken down by business division, through the website and interactive maps. Visitors can search through clickable links to specific projects. Simply click on the projects of interest and a concise summary appears with photos and/or video. There is also an opportunity to submit questions online until May 29, or contact project leads directly to find out more information.
