Featured Food Truck

Who: The Praguery

What: Featured food truck at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet. They sell Prague cones made from vegan-friendly dough. The fillings vary from sweet to savoury. 

When: Friday, Aug. 2, through Sunday, Aug. 4. Open each day from noon to 8 p.m.

Where: McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, near the west entrance (1000-7899 Templeton Station Rd). 

Price: Price varies 



Photo Lab for Kids: Fun Family Portraits

Who: Apple and kids

What: Apple will be hosting an informational session where kids learn how to take family portraits on the iPad and iPhone. They will learn about backgrounds, light sources, and how to do an awesome photoshoot. Recommended for families and kids 5-12.

When: Sunday, Aug. 4 from 3 to 4 p.m.

Where: Apple store at Richmond Centre (6551 No. 3 Rd).

Price: Free 



Art Skills: Getting Started with Procreate 

Who: Apple and art lovers

What: Apple will be showing attendees how to use the Procreate app on iPad Pro. Attendees will learn how to add shadows, curves, select a colour palette and more. Recommended for beginners. 

When: Sunday, Aug. 4 from 4 to 5 p.m.

Where: Apple store at Richmond Centre (6551 No. 3 Rd).

Price: Free.



Board Games Night at the Richmond Public Library 

Who: Adult board game enthusiasts

What: A board game night held for adults where they can bring their own games or play the featured game of the evening. 

When: Friday, Aug. 2 from 6:30 to 9:15 p.m.

Where: Richmond Public Library, Brighouse branch (7700 Minoru Blvd).

Price: Free. 



2019 Provincial Championships

Who: Strongmen and strongwomen athletes

What: Qualified athletes competing for the title of B.C.’s strongest man/woman.

When: Saturday, Aug. 3 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where: Jungle Gym Life House (12371 Horseshoe Way).

Price: $65.02 



Music at the Cannery

Who: Harpdog Brown Quartet (vintage blues and harp master)

What: Live musical performances happening every Friday night this summer

When: Friday, Aug. 2. Ticket sales start at 5:30 p.m., show at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site (12138 Fourth Ave).

Price: $5 for youth 2-17. $7 for adults 18 and over
