Regular Canada Line service has resumed between Bridgeport and Richmond-Brighouse stations, according to TransLink.

Previously, the Richmond Sentinel reported that single-track “shuttle” service would be in place between those stations through Feb. 2 during construction of the Capstan station. Due to the single-tracking, train service was available every 17 and a half minutes, compared to a regular schedule of six minutes and 40 seconds between trains.

But TransLink staff said on Twitter today that the phase of construction that required the single-tracking was completed earlier than anticipated.
