‘Youngsters’ help keep seniors’ dreams alive

They are Forever Young, and their goal is to wish all seniors the same.
Members of the Richmond-based running club, whose members are all 55 or over, enjoy regular treks around the city. And in extension of their good deeds they recently donated $3,500 to the Dream-On Seniors Wish Foundation—the club's charity of choice.
This charity is similar to the Make-a-Wish Foundation for younger people, explains Forever Young founder John Young.
“Our Forever Young 8K for seniors event took place last September and we traditionally have a cheque presentation ceremony at our year-end banquet which, of course, was cancelled this year due to COVID,” he says.
