The popular Canada Day
celebration at McArthurGlen is back for its fourth year on July 1.
To kick things off, the centre
has partnered with the Richmond Olympic Oval and YYoga to host two free yoga
classes set to an all-Canadian favourites playlist in the morning. In the
spirit of Canada Day, yogis are encouraged to wear red. Guests are also asked
to bring their own yoga mats and arrive 15 minutes prior to class start times
to reserve their spot.
Following the morning yoga
classes, the centre will transform into a family-friendly block party, featuring
a live DJ mixing our shoppers’ requests, as well as an interactive artist
guiding chalk drawing for children. The whole family can take part in the block
party fun -- activities include chalk drawing, face-painting, airbrush
tattooing, and more.
Canada Day also marks the start
of the McArthurGlen’s highly anticipated Summer Sale and extended hours. With
longer summer days ahead, visitors can enjoy the warmer weather and shop
additional offers every day until 9 p.m.
The fun begins early with yoga
classes (rain or shine) at 9 and 10:15 a.m., followed by the block party from
noon to 3 p.m.
With a busy long weekend
anticipated, all guests are encouraged to take public transit on Canada Day to
avoid any delays. McArthurGlen Designer Outlet is a short walk from Canada Line’s
Templeton Station—three minutes from Vancouver International Airport and 20
minutes from downtown Vancouver.
