Whether you make it to the opening reception, June 30 from 2 to 5 p.m., or wander in another day, the first global Chinese photography art exhibit at Richmond’s Lipont Place offers something for every art lover.

To celebrate Canada 150, Lipont has sourced 150 photography masterpieces from 150 Chinese photographers from around the world with an exhibition called Harmony which runs to July 5.

The carefully assembled photographs highlight the world’s natural beauty while also showing human moments of charm and joy.

All those shown are contemporary artists with a unique perspective and respect for multiculturalism.

A former auto dealership, Lipont Place (4211 No. 3 Rd.) has transformed the space into a vibrant art gallery with glorious light streaming in from the two story wall of windows. The smaller rooms offer a more intimate venue in which to peruse creative work.
