If public speaking makes you nervous or uncertain, the Richmond Chamber of Commerce is offering a six-week workshop to help gain confidence.

The Toastmasters International Speechcraft program is designed to help speakers overcome nerves, as well as creating and delivering engaging speeches.

The six-session workshop will be delivered via Zoom. Participants will learn to prepare and present speeches, as well as how to handle impromptu speaking sessions. The sessions will be run by experienced, knowledgeable, non-judgmental Toastmasters.

The program is presented in partnership with the Richmond Toastmasters Club and the Unicorn Tribe Toastmasters Club.

The sessions are offered on consecutive Thursdays beginning Jan. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $50 plus GST, all inclusive. Registration is limited to members of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, with limited spots available.
