Today, Dec. 4, the Richmond School District is celebrating the enormous contributions of our leadership and management staff. In Richmond, this includes principals, vice-principals, district educational administrators and management and professional staff.

“Each and every day, these individuals provide caring and inspirational leadership to our school communities around the district,” says superintendent Scott Robinson. “They work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to make sure those they support can focus on our core mandate—the success of our students. This year, it is particularly important that we take the time to recognize and thank our leadership and management staff for their commitment to providing a healthy, safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all those in our district.

“Many of our leaders have been on the front lines in schools for months, ensuring that the practical and emotional needs of those they lead are being taken care of. This is often at their own expense but despite this, they carry on with their work to support and care for those around them. In addition to our principals and vice-principals, our management staff have also taken on multiple responsibilities related to the pandemic, ensuring that the district is able to handle the challenges we are facing together. The entire district is benefitting from their dedication.”
