For the past couple of years, One Book, Three Cities has been a staple at the Richmond Public Library.
Building off its success, this year it became One Book, Four Cities, a virtual author event with Michael Ondaatje.
The event held on the afternoon of Aug. 19 was recorded for all library patrons to enjoy. To access, they are invited to register on the library website to receive a limited-time link to watch the recording. It will expire in just over a week, so must be viewed before midnight Aug. 27.
Ondaatje’s book In the Skin of a Lion was enjoyed during the library’s annual Summer Reading program by readers from Qingdao and Xiamen, China as well as Wakayama, Japan and of course Richmond.
