Vancouver International Airport says it is running as normal after staffing shortfalls at Canada's air navigation provider led to cancellations and delays on Tuesday.

The airport had reported significant delays due to "staffing constraints" at NAV CANADA.

An update posted to the airport's X account says the flow of aircraft has returned to normal.

The airport's website shows no cancelled arrivals this morning, though eight flights arriving from U.S. airports saw delays of nine hours or more.

There were eight cancelled departures this morning, with the last at 9 a.m.

Flights for the rest of the day are mostly scheduled to depart on time, with a handful of minor delays.
