Asteroid 2010 WC9 is due to whisk between
earth and the moon sometime May 15, 2018.
Watch the live feed of the asteroid’s travels
as seen through Northolt Branch Observatories.
The asteroid’s diameter is about the same as
a city block.
It will not hit the earth. The moon is still a long way away. Many
human-made satellites travel far closer to the earth without striking it.
For scientific information and the exact
location of the asteroid check the NASA website.
