Metro Vancouver will be performing critical sewer maintenance to flush sewer pipes that have become clogged with grease build-up near the intersection of Hollybridge Way and Lansdowne Road in Richmond. The work must take place overnight when flows are at their lowest to prevent sewer overflows in the area.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction and turning restrictions will be in place. Drivers are asked to follow the direction of signage and traffic control personnel. Work will occur in three separate timeframes: August 14 to 16, August 21 to 23, and August 28 to 30, with typical work hours between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.
