Tourism industry lauds Accent Inns

Accent Inns is keeping some very good company
these days.
The BC-based hotel chain—whose Vancouver
Airport hotel is located in Richmond—has just been named Business of the Year
by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada.
“We are absolutely delighted,” says Mandy
Farmer, CEO and president of Accent Inns. “We have an incredible team who work
tirelessly to provide the best guest experience. I am thrilled their efforts
are being recognized.”
Under Farmer’s leadership, Accent Inns is
enjoying a resurgence. The business has attracted a strong team of senior
leadership and its net income has increased by seven-and-half times since 2013.
The success can be attributed to an innovative approach and employee passion
and commitment.
The Canadian Tourism Awards are presented
annually to recognize excellence in Canada’s tourism by rewarding successful
and innovative businesses, people, places and events that have gone above and
beyond to offer a superior tourism experience to travellers in Canada.
