Police seeking information, dash cam footage after shots fired

Richmond RCMP is looking for information or video footage following an incident in east Richmond yesterday.
Just after 2 p.m. yesterday (Aug. 18), police officers responded to Fraserbank Place after reports of gun shots being fired. Richmond RCMP serious crime unit is investigating, and police believe that it was a targeted shooting.
A dark-coloured pickup truck was observed fleeing the scene and investigators have located an abandoned vehicle in Surrey that is suspected of being involved. There are no reported injuries at this time.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or dashcam/video security footage to contact Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212 and quote file # 2022-22232.
