You can help bring history to life by
volunteering as a heritage ambassador this summer.
Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site,
Steveston Tram and the Steveston Museum and London Heritage Farm all have
opportunities in July and August.
Dressed in period costumes, volunteers will
demonstrate such activities as churning butter, net mending, and showing
visitors how the tram worked. Those with special skills in sewing, woodworking
or playing Mahjong are also being sought.
As a volunteer, you’ll be helping preserve
Richmond’s history.
