Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle

By RCMP Cpl. Dennis Hwang

The Richmond RCMP would like the opportunity to remind Sentinel readers about vehicle break-ins. Thieves like easy targets. This is the unfortunate reality. It takes them very little time enter your vehicle if left unlocked or to break the window of your vehicle if they can see something they want.

They will steal anything including spare change, cell phones, ipads/tablets, sunglasses, laptops, garage door openers, dash cams, and GPS units. Please remove or hide any valuables in your vehicle. If there is nothing to see, thieves will move on.
