UPDATE: as reported by Richmond RCMP on Oct. 20, Chinnick has been located.

Police are looking for Mary Catherine Chinnick, 38, who was last seen in Richmond.

Chinnick, who is not from the Lower Mainland, was last seen around midnight on Sunday at a residence in the 9000 block of Douglas Street (around Great Canadian Way and Bridgeport Road) according to Richmond RCMP’s communications and media liaison officer Cpl. Adriana O’Malley.

Chinnick is described as a Caucasian woman, five-foot-nine and about 145 pounds. She has long black hair, brown eyes and a slender build, and was last seen wearing a long grey coat.

Police are concerned for Chinnick’s health and well-being, and friends and family report that it is out of character for her to be out of contact for this long.

Anyone with information on Chinnick’s whereabouts is urged to contact their local police, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
